Store of the Community offers various promotional items for retail displays and events to stores. The project is rather small in scope – merely a splash site leading on to an ecommerce site provided by a company specializing in this niche.
Wanna know the problem with an “under construction” page? Well, there are several. First, your content (or lack thereof) gets indexed and the cashed version of your page may not be updated for a while. The site is static css, xhtml, and php and incorporates the Smooth Gallery by jondesign. The design of the site revolves around the logo and borrows elements from it. It’s meant to convey kind of a techie-gamie feel, hence the color scheme and the cool mootools accordion sidebar elements.
