We Blog Better began as a personal blogging project – a place for me to blog about social media. The site’s design was featured in numerous galleries and showcases. It’s traffic grew rapidly and because of some other commitments, I transferred ownership to a very talented blogger. It was designed with an intentional “blog” look.

Website Design, Wordpress Integration, Hosting
Missouri Compassion is an organization that brings together the efforts of churches and state foster and adoption agencies to help put families together. It’s a tremendous effort and they needed a website that would allow them to distribute information, offer helpful articles, and tie together a directory of resources. Some parts of the site are still coming together as content becomes available. It was developed on Wordpress.

Cody Clark is quite the expert about technology and gadgets. For his blog, he’s using my free Bible Scholar WordPress theme, and he needed a logo designed that reflected the idea of technology and connection. I wanted the header to resemble a motherboard without being too obvious, while also symbolizing the idea of “connectedness.”

The Baptist Missionary Association of Missouri consists of dozens of churches across southern Missouri that have a heart to plant and grow healthy churches within the state. Their logo needed to be state-focused, but represent freshness and growth as well. Their site is a customized version of the Ministry Theme.

Bible Scholar is basically the theme I use for my blog (currently) at www.brandonacox.com, enhanced so that it can be applied to any WordPress blog. It can be 2 or 3 columns, depending on how the owner wants to style the site. It has room for ads, a nice search function, and the built-in ability to use the blogroll without using it site-wide. The preview page includes instructions. Note that I’ve updated it as of April 24 to include threaded comments and to reflect some changes suggested by WordPress. The theme provides gravatar/avatar support.
