I’ve completed work on a custom WordPress theme I’m calling Balance of Blue. I designed it with business applications in mind. I’m an advocate for using WordPress as an entire site solution and content management system, so this theme was created to highlight the potential for that kind of usage.

Well, I’ve played around with about five or six different potential WordPress themes, most of which will eventually be released. I’ve finally settled on one to release as my first official free WordPress theme. I originally designed it as the theme for one of my sites under development, eChurch Creative. I decided that even if I used it there, it could still be a useful free theme.
It’s set up for adsense and affiliate banners. Though it’s designed with dark grays, I still don’t care for white on black, so it has a white background behind the content. It lists the top level pages in the navbar, is a three-column layout, and its sidebars are widgetized. If you use it for a site that is non-adsense oriented, you’ll probably want to customize the right column a bit.
