Web

We Blog Better began as a personal blogging project – a place for me to blog about social media. The site’s design was featured in numerous galleries and showcases. It’s traffic grew rapidly and because of some other commitments, I transferred ownership to a very talented blogger. It was designed with an intentional “blog” look.

N. Karsten Chearis needed a blogger template for his blog, 2Live4Him, so along with the blog template came an idea for a logo. The logo itself is designed to convey that we are to live for Him 24 hours per day (this was my thought at least). Karsten wanted a paper look and his own logo concept included kind of a dark stone background. It’s a great blog by the way – the content is well worth subscribing to!

Website Design, Wordpress Integration, Hosting
Missouri Compassion is an organization that brings together the efforts of churches and state foster and adoption agencies to help put families together. It’s a tremendous effort and they needed a website that would allow them to distribute information, offer helpful articles, and tie together a directory of resources. Some parts of the site are still coming together as content becomes available. It was developed on Wordpress.

Teamflix helps school athletic programs by providing a means of video-taping sporting events, collecting the film and selling DVD’s via its (soon-to-be) ecommerce site. The logo was designed by Jeff Chadd and I developed the site on Wordpress and will soon be integrating a full-scale shopping cart system.

Lindsay Lane Baptist Church in Florissant, Missouri was in need of a logo and website design, along with a content management system so that they could easily add information and articles to their web site. The logo concept is based on the image of a lane leading people to the cross, where lives are changed. The web site is warm and personal and offers multiple easy entryways into basic information about the church for any first time site visitor, which is the primary target audience. The site is built on WordPress.

Danny Kirk is a Pastor in St. Louis and also serves as a Missions Director for the BMA of Missouri and the Meramec Association. He spends much of his time mentoring church planters and young Pastors, so a blog is an ideal way for him to share his life and advice with leaders at large. We created a simple logo for his site and modified the Ministry Free WordPress theme to launch DannyRKirk.com.

Frick’s Meats (site coming soon) operates Dynamic Pet Products as a great way to preserve what would otherwise be wasted. They take the bones from their meat products and market them as dog treats and sell them at major retailers. I did not design the logos at the top of the page. The site itself is built on WordPress to allow easy content editing and to be consistent with their other site projects. It was designed to be colorful, yet small-scaled and simple to edit on the backend.
