My Web Design Philosophy & Core Values
I believe that our Creator implanted within our hearts the inner desire to be creative for His glory. This fact drives my passion for perfection. Every design project is an opportunity for me to strive for excellence. The following are my “core values” of web design…
High Ethical Standards. Integrity is everything. Honesty really is the best policy. Underhanded methods of getting ahead of the competition are unacceptable. I bill honestly, am up front about my time limitations, and determine to work hard to make every project all that it can be without cutting corners.
Compatibility with Web Standards. Not everything that works is right. I support the movement toward an established set of standards for web development - it makes for a better web for everyone.
Cleanliness in Design. This is more about style, but I believe my role as designer is to feature the content, not overwhelm it. I seek to design sites that draw users, clients, readers, etc. into the usefulness of the site rather than the attractiveness of the design elements.
