CreativeCox.com – Because Brain Cells Aren’t Cheap!
I used to work in a bookstore when I was in college and the manager had legal pads and pens laying around all over the place. Whenever something important was said, he would pause, waiting for me to start writing. If asked about this slight obsession with writing things down, he would reply, “because paper is cheap, and brain cells aren’t.”
A couple of weeks ago, I quietly launched CreativeCox.com for three reasons…
- To become a veritable library of useful and inspirational links, tutorials, and resources for creatives.
- To blog about design. I do that here, but here my thoughts are a little more personal.
- To perhaps earn just a bit of passive income, hence the banners and ads.
It’s the kind of blog that will annoy you if you don’t care about design news. Rather than the three to four posts per week you’ll get most places, you might get a dozen per day, all linking to external resources. But my initial purpose was to create a sort of self-hosted social bookmark catalog, which requires frequent, quick posting.
If you like design news and links, enjoy. And I’ll be adding some blog posts of my own there soon too.
